Alexandra Chando Biography (1986-)

Born in 1986, — a native of Bethlehem, PA — trained dramatically under the aegis of Alan Langdon at New York’s Circle in the Square, then attended Manhattan College. Drawn to histrionics from the tender age of eight (when she immersed herself in community theater), Chando later became active in high-school stage productions including Our Miss Brooks and Anything Goes, and spent time in Los Angeles doing pilots for series including Fertile Ground and House Blend and appearing in the MTV reality series True Life in the episode “I’m Getting My Big Break.” Chando is perhaps best known, however, for her turn as Maddie Coleman, the younger sister of Henry Coleman, on the CBS daytime soap opera As the World Turns — an assignment that began in 2005.

Hopefully, she will be more commonly known as the girl that played twins Emma and Sutton in The Lying Game. I’m looking forward to seeing her in that and she was scary in The Bleeding House. I didn’t think she was gonna be able to pull off horror but she did it really.
