Actress. Born August 16, 1946 in New York City. A dedicated ballet student from a young age, Warren trained at the School of American Ballet before entering the Actors Studio at age 17. In 1963, Warren made her Broadway debut in the musical, 110 in the Shade. Two years later, she starred in the television production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.
Warren’s extensive television career has included Mission Impossible and more recently Desperate Housewives, in which she plays Susan’s mother. Warren has also appeared on the big screen in such films as 1967’s The Happiest Millionaire, 1971’s Cat Ballou and 1982’s Victor/Victoria.
Warren married producer Jon Peters in 1967; they later divorced after having a son, Christopher. She is currently married to advertising executive Ron Taft, whom she wed in 2000.
