Nichole Hiltz Biography (1978-)

Born on September 3, 1978 in Hanover, Massachusetts, is best known for her roles in various television series, such as The OC, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Smallville. Growing up, Hiltz’ Hollywood career had small beginnings. She worked as a waitress during high school because she had to pay for rent. She also dabbled in bartending and computer programming to take care of the bills, until she was discovered by the Farelly brothers and brought to Hollywood. She later got engaged with Canadian actor Mike Smith, whom she met while filming Trailer Park Boys: The Big Dirty.

Hiltz’s made her debut with a small role on the 2001 comedy Shallow Hal. Since then, she went on to appear on more movies, such as Dude, Where’s My Car, Austin Powers in Goldmember, A Midsummer Night’s Rave, All Souls Day, and May. She also cites the last film as her favorite. On television, she has made guest appearances on several shows, namely NYPD Blue, Strong Medicine, Cold Case, The Shield, VIP, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Desperate Housewives, and The Riches.

In 2008, Hiltz joined the cast of the USA Network series In Plain Sight. She played the role of Brandi Shannon, younger sister of US Marshall Mary Shannon who works for the highly clandestine Federal Witness Protection Program. Very much like her impulsive, happy-go-lucky mother, Brandi lives in the moment and has a tendency to fall for the wrong men. Her last boyfriend, for instance, gave her a suitcase of crystal meth and put her on a train to Albuquerque, where Mary is based. During that time, Nichole Hiltz also got roles in Trailer Park of Terror, several episodes of The Riches, and an episode of Wainy Days. She has also appeared on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn in 2003.
